AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile Face Lawsuit Over Alleged Anticompetitive Practices
Aug 21, 2024 1:14 PM

08:41 AM EDT, 08/21/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AT&T ( T ) , Verizon (VZ), and T-Mobile are being sued by VoIP-Pal.com, a voice over internet protocol company, for alleged anticompetitive practices, VoIP-Pal.com said Wednesday.

The antitrust lawsuit accuses the three telecommunications operators of restricting competition and harming consumers, VoIP-Pal.com said. The case was filed in the US District Court for the District of Columbia.

"We believe these companies have used their market position to limit choices and increase costs for consumers," VoIP-Pal.com's chief executive officer, Emil Malak, said. "Our goal is to challenge these practices and help ensure a more equitable market for everyone."

AT&T ( T ), Verizon, and T-Mobile did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
