Aura Minerals Reports Preliminary Q1 Production Results for Q1
Apr 8, 2024 6:58 AM

09:42 AM EDT, 04/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aura Minerals ( ORAAF ) on Monday reported preliminary production results for the first quarter from the company's four Latin American mines: Aranzazu, Apoena, Minosa, and Almas.

Total production in Q1 reached 68,181 gold equivalent ounces, stable as compared with the fourth quarter of 2023 and 28% above the same period of last year, Aura noted.

This was mainly because of Minosa's performance due to operational improvements in 2023, and Almas. At constant metal prices, production was stable as compared with Q4 2023 and increased by 35% as compared with Q1 2023.

Total production for Q1 2024 was either at or above the company's expectations across all its operating mines, the company said. The company said it remains on track to achieve consolidated production guidance of between 244,000 to 292,000 gold equivalent ounces for 2024.

Aura shares were last seen up C$0.30 to C$11.25 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
