Aurora Cannabis Gets 2 Cultivation Licenses From German Regulator

05:32 AM EDT, 07/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aurora Cannabis ( ACB ) said late Thursday that it received two licenses from the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices under Germany's new Medical Cannabis Act.

The medical cannabis company said the license grants continued domestic cultivation, which has been underway for two years.

Under the new license, Aurora may also cultivate an approved additional product and plans to expand their offerings to the rapidly growing German patient base.

Aurora will also receive a dedicated research and development license, allowing the trial of up to seven additional novel cultivars at the company's facility in Leuna, Germany.
