Aurora Cannabis Secures Australia's TGA GMP Certification

08:09 AM EDT, 03/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aurora Cannabis Inc. ( ACB ) , the Canadian-based global medical cannabis company, said Wednesday that it has secured Good Manufacturing Practice certification from Australia's Therapeutic Goods Administration for its Canadian production facilities, River and Ridge.

The Therapeutic Goods Administration, or TGA, regulates the supply, import, export, manufacturing, and advertising of therapeutic goods in Australia.

The GMP certification allows the company to deliver top-tier cannabis products to Australia while confirming Aurora's dedication to exporting products fully compliant with TGA regulations and the stipulations of TGO 93.

The license also allows Aurora to expand its product range offerings in the country, comprising dried flower, resin cartridges, pastilles, and oils.

The company's shares, which slipped 1.2% in Canada yesterday, gained 1.4% in premarket US trading on Wednesday.
