11:12 AM EDT, 04/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aurora Spine ( ASAPF ) on Tuesday said its fourth-quarter loss widened while revenue increased.
The medical-device company said it lost $0.65 million, or $0.01 per share, in the period, compared with a loss of $0.3 million, or nil, in the prior-year quarter.
Revenue rose 16% to $4.7 million due to more procedures conducted in ambulatory surgical and pain centers that incorporated Aurora product. Aurora also targeted the pain market with increased marketing, training, new product releases, with increased sales staff.
"Looking ahead, we are excited about 2025 and are off to a great start with the recent FDA clearance of our newest product platform AERO, a facet fusion system, which is Aurora's fourth new product platform in the past four years," said Chief Executive Trent Northcutt. "We expect that this product will generate much of the growth in sales we have planned for in 2025."
