March 18 (Reuters) - Australia's Woodside Energy ( WDS ) named Liz Westcott as its new chief executive officer and managing director on Wednesday.
Westcott was appointed as the interim CEO when Meg O'Neill left the firm in December last year to join BP as its new CEO.
The newly appointed top boss joined Woodside in June 2023 and has since led Woodside's Australian operations as executive vice president and chief operating officer, Australia.
She also held top roles at ExxonMobil - working in Australia, the United Kingdom and Italy.
