STOCKHOLM, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Some car makers held back

shipments to the United States at the start of the second

quarter but volumes grew towards the end of the period, shipping

group Wallenius Wilhelmsen's ( WAWIF ) CEO Lasse Kristoffersen

said on Tuesday amid tariff uncertainty.
