06:53 AM EDT, 08/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Autohome ( ATHM ) said Wednesday that the transfer of the company's shares between Yun Chen Capital Cayman and Cartech Holding, a subsidiary of Haier Group, has been completed.

Subsequently, Cartech has become a controlling shareholder of the company with the acquisition of about 200.9 million ordinary shares, equating to a shareholding of about 43%.

Yun Chen has ceased to be the controlling shareholder of the company and now holds about 23.9 million ordinary shares, representing a shareholding of about 5.1%.

The company further said that Song Yang has resigned as chief executive officer of Autohome ( ATHM ) and has assumed the role of senior vice president.

Chi Liu, who currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Haier Group and head of the Cartech Automotive business division, has been appointed as CEO and chairman of the Autohome ( ATHM ) board.
