Avadel Pharmaceuticals Shares Rise Amid Swing to Q2 Earnings, Higher Revenue

09:52 AM EDT, 08/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Avadel Pharmaceuticals ( AVDL ) shares rose by more than 12% in early Thursday trading after the company reported Q2 earnings of $0.10 per diluted share, swinging from a $0.14 net loss per share a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.03 per share.

Net product revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $68.1 million, compared with $41.5 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $61.4 million.

The company raised its 2025 revenue guidance to $265 million to $275 million, from the previous range of $255 million to $265 million.
