04:38 AM EDT, 07/24/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Avantor ( AVTR ) is replacing Quidel (QDEL) in the S&P MidCap 400, while Quidel will replace Hibbett Sports (HIBB) in the S&P SmallCap 600, effective before Friday's trading opens.

The move is due to JD sports Fashion's pending acquisition of Hibbett ( HIBB ), which is expected to close soon.

Additionally, Schneider National ( SNDR ) will replace US Silica Holdings ( SLCA ) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective before Wednesday's trading opens, following Apollo Global Management's ( APO ) acquisition of Silica Holdings.
