05:39 PM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- AvePoint ( AVPT ) said late Tuesday it has started an offer to purchase all of its outstanding public warrants to buy common shares at $2.50 apiece.

The company said it is also seeking consent to amend the 2019 warrant agreement between Apex Technology Acquisition, which merged with AvePoint ( AVPT ) in 2021, and Continental Stock Transfer & Trust to allow AvePoint ( AVPT ) to redeem outstanding warrants for $2 each, pending approval from at least 50.1% of warrant holders.

AvePoint ( AVPT ) expects to close the offer on Sept. 24.

Shares of the company were up 2.1% in recent after-hours activity.
