Avery Dennison's Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Sales Increase; Lifts Low End of 2024 Adjusted Profit Guidance

07:08 AM EDT, 07/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Avery Dennison (AVY) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $2.42 per diluted share, up from $1.92 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $2.26.

Sales for the quarter ended June 29 was $2.24 billion, up from $2.09 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $2.19 billion.

The company said it now expects 2024 adjusted earnings of $9.30 to $9.50 per diluted share, compared with $9 to $9.50 previously. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $9.38.
