05:10 AM EDT, 09/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aviat Networks ( AVNW ) said late Wednesday it has filed a notification of late filing for its annual report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended June 28.

The company said the delay was due to the need for additional time to finalize its internal control assessments and complete closing procedures.

The company expects to file the report within the 15-day extension period.

Aviat said it identified some errors in its financial statements for fiscal years 2023 and 2024 and is currently determining whether revision or restatement is required.
