11:35 AM EDT, 08/01/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Avidia Bancorp ( AVBC ) shares were up sharply on their first day of trading on the New York Stock Exchange Friday after the company closed an initial public offering of nearly 19.2 million shares.

The bank holding company said it sold the shares at $10 apiece, raising gross proceeds of $191.8 million.
