08:30 AM EDT, 05/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Avis Budget Group ( CAR ) said Wednesday its Avis Budget Car Rental and Avis Budget Finance units plan to launch a private offering of $500 million of senior notes due 2032.

The company intends to use the net proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the repayment of its floating term loan A maturing in December and a part of its outstanding fleet debt, Avis Budget ( CAR ) said.

Shares of the company were down 5% in recent premarket activity.
