Avista CEO Dennis Vermillion to Retire in Q1; COO Heather Rosentrater Is Successor

04:37 PM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Avista ( AVA ) said Monday that Chief Executive Officer Dennis Vermillion plans to retire in Q1.

Avista ( AVA ) Chief Operating Officer and President Heather Rosentrater will become CEO effective Jan. 1, the company said.

She will retain her role as president and was appointed to the board, effective Jan. 1, the company said.

Vermillion will continue as executive vice president and strategic adviser, supporting the transition to the new CEO until his retirement by the end of Q1, the company said in a filing.
