Aviva completes takeover of AIG's life insurance business

LONDON, April 9 (Reuters) - British insurer Aviva

said on Tuesday it had completed the 453 million pound ($574

million) acquisition of AIG's UK life insurance

business, sealing the largest takeover under CEO Amanda Blanc to

date.

Aviva announced the deal in September. The company is buying

the unit - known as AIG Life UK - from Corebridge Financial Inc ( CRBG )

, a New York-listed company majority-owned by AIG.

($1 = 0.7897 pounds)

India's IT ministry told the High Court in New Delhi that Twitter's non-compliance amounted to a breach of the provisions of the IT Act, causing the US firm to lose its immunity, according to the filing dated July 5.
