10:36 AM EST, 01/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Axalta Coating Systems ( AXTA ) said Wednesday it has partnered with Durr Systems to introduce a digital paint system that merges Axalta's NextJet technology with Durr's robotics.

Digital paint, or overspray-free application, allows precise paint placement, the company said.

Under the agreement, Axalta said Durr will integrate the NextJet system into robotic platforms for light vehicle original equipment manufacturers.
