Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.80.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, was $290.9 million, compared with $236.5 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $297 million.

Shares of Axos fell 8.5% in after-hours activity.
