08:44 AM EDT, 03/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aya Gold & Silver ( AYASF ) said Thursday that it has commenced a work program to support a feasibility study for the Boumadine project in Morocco.

The company expects to complete the study by the second half of 2027.

Aya said it is advancing multiple workstreams with its partners, including a 360,000-meter infill drilling campaign, metallurgical testwork and process engineering.

Aya's partners are also conducting geotechnical studies, an environmental and social impact assessment, hydrogeological investigations, water supply studies and tailings storage facility engineering, the company said.

Aya expects to release an updated resource estimate in the second half of 2026.
