Aya Gold & Silver Reports At-Depth High-Grade Results From Program at Zgounder Silver Mine

08:54 AM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Aya Gold & Silver Inc. ( AYASF ) , which gained 3.4% yesterday, on Tuesday highlighted high-grade silver drill results from its at-depth drill exploration program at the Zgounder Silver Mine in the Kingdom of Morocco.

From surface, diamond drill hole ZG-23-60 intercepted 347 grams per ton of silver over 12.5 meters, including 1 meter at 2,504 grams per ton of silver; and ZG-24-70 intercepted 718 grams per ton of silver over 4.5 meters.

In the Central Zone from the 1,950-meter level, hole ZG-SF-23-084 intercepted 1,089 grams per ton of silver over 13.5 meters, including 1,700 grams per ton of silver over 7.5 meters and 4,469 grams per ton of silver over 4.5 meters inside the rhyolite near the granite contact.

Hole ZG-SF-23-092 intercepted 322 grams per ton of silver over 17.6 meters, including 1,877 grams per ton of silver over 1.5 meters inside the rhyolite near the granite contact.

In the Central Zone from the 1,975-meter level, hole TD28-24-1975-013 intercepted 1,081 grams per ton of silver over 6 meters.

In the Eastern Zone from the 2,050-meter level, hole DZG-SF-24-004 intercepted 1,489 grams per ton of silver over 5 meters, including 3,363 grams per ton of silver over 2 meters; and hole DZG-SF-24-007 intercepted 2,511 grams per ton of silver over 4 meters, including 18,760 grams per ton of silver over 0.5 meters.

In the Eastern Zone from the 2,125-meter level, the company said hole YAKD-24-2125-004 intercepted 677 grams per ton of silver over 10.8 meters, including 1,586 grams per ton of silver over 3.6 meters.
