08:33 AM EDT, 06/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Aya Gold & Silver ( AYASF ). (AYA.TO) on Thursday said exploration drilling at its Boumadine project in Morocco showed some high-grade mineralization.
The company said the best came results from a selective list of assays from the Imariren zone at the property included 5,373 grams per tonne silver equivalent over 0.5 meters and 199 gpt silver equivalent over over 10.6 meters of core.
Aya also said it expanded the property by 16% to 314.5 square kilometers as it added four new exploration permits to the project.
"Boumadine continues to demonstrate the potential to become a large-scale, high-grade deposit with mineralization open in all directions," Chief Executive Benoit La Salle said in a release.
The company said it has six drilling rigs operating on the property as it plans to complete up to 140,000 meters of exploration drilling at Boumadine as it readies to compile a preliminary economic assessment for the property.
Aya shares closed up $0.53 to $13.64 Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
