04:31 PM EDT, 06/27/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AZEK ( AZEK ) shareholders approved all proposals linked to the planned $8.75 billion acquisition in cash and stock by James Hardie Industries ( JHX ) at a special meeting.

The deal is expected to close by Tuesday, AZEK ( AZEK ) said Friday in a statement.

AZEK ( AZEK ) shares climbed 3.6% in regular trading Friday, and James Hardie rose 7.1%.
