11:23 AM EDT, 07/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Azul ( AZUL ) and GOL Airlines said Thursday they launched 40 shared routes across Brazil, reinforcing their commercial cooperation through a codeshare agreement.

The start of the codeshare will create over 2,700 travel opportunities in Brazil with just one connection, and the partnership plans to expand with more routes in the coming weeks.

Azul ( AZUL ) shares rose 1.7% in recent Thursday trading.
