B. Riley Financial Q1 Loss Narrows, Revenue Declines

04:52 PM EST, 11/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- B. Riley Financial ( RILY ) reported a Q1 loss late Tuesday of $0.39 per diluted share, narrowing from the loss of $1.71 a year earlier.

Revenue in the three months ended March 31 fell to $186.1 million from $297.6 million a year earlier.

The results mark "an important step towards timely financial reporting and compliance with Nasdaq listing requirements," Co-Chief Executive Officer Bryant Riley said in a statement. "Our financial and accounting operations, supported by external staff augmentation, executed a seamless mid-year transition to our new auditor, BDO."

B. Riley shares rose 1.8% in after-hours trading.
