04:54 PM EDT, 03/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- B. Riley Financial ( RILY ) said late Friday that it received a delinquency notification from Nasdaq due to the delayed filing of its annual report on Form 10-K for the year ended Dec. 31, 2023.

The company has previously said that the delay was due to the dedication of time and resources related to the board's audit committee review of its transactions with Brian Kahn.

B. Riley may be granted until Sept. 11 after submitting a plan by May 17 to regain compliance.
