B2Gold Nears Commercial Production of Goose Mine in Canada
Sep 15, 2025 8:22 AM

07:54 AM EDT, 09/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- B2Gold ( BTG ) said Monday that it has almost completed the commissioning of its Goose Mine in Canada and expects to reach commercial production in the coming weeks.

The mine's current daily throughput is 75% of its design capacity of 4,000 metric tons per day, B2Gold ( BTG ) said.

The company said it reduced its Q3 gold production for the mine to a range of 80,000 to 110,00 ounces from the previous range of 120,000 to 150,000 ounces due to a crushing plant capacity shortfall in the quarter. B2Gold ( BTG ) said that Q4 production should be in line with its original estimate of around 70,000 ounces.

For full-year 2025, B2Gold ( BTG ) said it confirms its total annual gold production at between 970,000 and 1,075,000 ounces.
