11:57 AM EDT, 06/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baidu ( BIDU ) on Friday launched Ernie 4.0 Turbo, which it said advances the capabilities of the artificial intelligence model that it introduced in October 2023.

In a LinkedIn post, the Chinese tech company said Ernie 4.0 Turbo has "faster responses and superior performance" compared with Ernie 4.0.

Ernie 4.0 Turbo was unveiled by Baidu ( BIDU ) Chief Technology Officer Haifeng Wang at the company's deep learning developer conference in Beijing, the company said.

Baidu ( BIDU ) also said that its generative AI product Ernie Bot has reached 300 million users.
