Baidu's Apollo Go to Launch Robotaxis in Dubai by Year's End

01:06 PM EDT, 03/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baidu ( BIDU ) said Friday its autonomous ride-hailing platform Apollo Go was partnering with authorities in Dubai to launch robotaxis in the city.

The company's Apollo Go entered a strategic cooperation agreement with Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority to deploy 100 fully autonomous vehicles in urban Dubai by the end of 2025.

Apollo Go then plans to scale the fleet to at least 1,000 robotaxis by 2028, according to Baidu ( BIDU ).
