Baker Hughes Awarded 270 Megawatt Gas Turbine Order From Frontier Infrastructure

08:27 AM EDT, 05/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Thursday that it received an award from Frontier Infrastructure, a Tailwater Capital company, for 16 NovaLT gas turbines producing 270 megawatts to power its data center projects in Wyoming and Texas.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said it is supplying Frontier with gas turbine technology and associated equipment, including gears and generators, for Frontier's power generation sites.

The order follows a March 2025 agreement to collaborate on US carbon capture and storage and power projects, the company said.

Shares of Baker Hughes ( BKR ) were 0.5% higher in recent premarket activity.
