09:14 AM EDT, 09/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) has entered into definitive agreements with energy firm Controlled Thermal Resources, or CTR, to collaborate on the development of up to 500 megawatts of baseload geothermal power at CTR's Hell's Kitchen project in Imperial County, California, CTR said Tuesday.

The project aims to provide reliable power for hyperscale data centers and artificial intelligence infrastructure, according to a statement.

Under the agreements, Baker Hughes ( BKR ) will provide high-temperature drilling technologies, power systems, and digital field services, CTR said. Financial terms were not disclosed.
