11:04 AM EDT, 05/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Thursday it received a contract from Sonatrach for a gas project at Algeria's Hassi R'Mel gas field.

The company said the contract is part of a broader order awarded to its consortium with Tecnimont.

Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said the contract includes the supply of 20 compression trains to the project.
