09:05 AM EST, 12/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Monday it has received an order from Bechtel Energy to supply gas technology equipment for two liquefaction plants for phase one of Woodside Energy Group's ( WDS ) Louisiana LNG project.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The order for the project, with a total capacity of about 11 million metric tons per year, includes eight main refrigeration compressors and eight expander-compressors, the company said.

Baker Hughes ( BKR ) was previously chosen to supply Woodside electric-powered integrated compressor line packages and other turbomachinery equipment for an associated pipeline serving the LNG export terminal, the company said.
