07:58 AM EDT, 09/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Wednesday that it was awarded a multi-year contract with Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), or Petrobras, to extend deployment of two stimulation vessels in support of the oil and gas explorer's offshore post and pre-salt fields.

The company said its Blue Marlin and Blue Orca vessels will deliver chemical treatments to stimulate wells and support well construction through gravel and frac pack operations.

Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
