Baker Hughes Wins Petrobras Pipe System Contracts

08:44 AM EDT, 10/28/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Baker Hughes ( BKR ) said Monday that it had won contracts with Brazilian oil and gas company Petrobras to provide 77 km (48 miles) of flexible pipe systems that will be used for Brazil's pre-salt fields.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The company said the multi-year project is intended support equipment storage, maintenance, and installation. It also said that delivery is scheduled to begin in mid-2026, and that the equipment will be used in Petrobras' Buzios, Libra, Berbigao, Sururu, and Sepia fields.

Shares of Baker Hughes ( BKR ) were down 2.2% in recent premarket trading.
