08:30 AM EDT, 06/12/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ballard Power Systems ( BLDP ) , down 4% in U.S. pre-market trading, on Thursday said it has filed a final short form base shelf prospectus for Canada and a corresponding shelf registration statement on Form F-10 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The prospectus allows the company to issue shares, warrants, debt securities and units over a 25-month period. It replaces Ballard's previous short form base shelf prospectus, which expired on June 9.

The company's shares were last seen down US$0.06, to US$1.62, in U.S. pre-market trading.
