07:00 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria ( BBVA ) said Friday it has formed a strategic partnership with KKR (KKR) to support the decarbonization of the economy and has committed $200 million to KKR's Global Climate Strategy.

The collaboration will focus on climate infrastructure investments, with a particular emphasis on energy transition and electrification, the company said.

BBVA also said it sees decarbonization and clean technologies as "key investment areas."
