03:45 PM EDT, 08/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria's ( BBVA ) Colombian unit has issued ordinary shares totaling 877 billion pesos ($218.1 million), according to the Colombian stock exchange.

The unit issued around 3.25 billion shares at 270 pesos apiece in the first tranche, the stock exchange said.

BBVA's unit will issue an additional 152.7 million shares in a second tranche at an undisclosed date, it added.
