Banco do Brasil's adjusted profit rises 3% in the second quarter

SAO PAULO, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Brazilian state-run lender

Banco do Brasil posted on Wednesday a 3.3% increase

in its second-quarter adjusted net profit from a year earlier.

Banco do Brasil reported a 3.91 billion reais adjusted net

profit for the April-June quarter, from the 3.65 billion reais

expected by analysts in an LSEG poll.
