No year-ago earnings were reported. An analyst polled by Capital IQ expected 0.19 euro.

Revenue for the quarter rose to 15.67 billion euros, compared with 14.30 billion euros a year ago.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected 15.48 billion euros.

The company said it now expects 2024 revenue growth to be high-single digit from mid-single digit.
