Bank First to Buy Centre 1 Bancorp

09:26 AM EDT, 07/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bank First ( BFC ) said Friday it has agreed to acquire Centre 1 Bancorp in an all-stock deal valued at about $174.3 million.

Centre 1 Bancorp shareholders will receive 0.92 Bank First ( BFC ) shares for each Centre 1 Bancorp share, the company said.

Bank First ( BFC ) also said both boards have approved the deal, which will likely close in Q1 2026, pending regulatory and shareholder approval.

Based on June 30 financials, the combined company is estimated to hold roughly $5.91 billion in assets, $4.58 billion in loans, and $4.89 billion in deposits, Bank First ( BFC ) added.

Centre 1 Bancorp CEO Steve Eldred will join Bank First's ( BFC ) board following the merger, Bank First ( BFC ) said.
