NEW YORK, Oct 31 (Reuters) - Bank of America ( BAC )
said on Friday it is responding to requests including those
arising from President Donald Trump's executive order on
guaranteeing fair banking access to all Americans.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in
September said it was rolling out new guidance to discourage
banks from cutting off, or "debanking," customers on political
and religious grounds, a month after Trump directed oversight
agencies to scrutinize banks for political bias.
