06:51 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of America's ( BAC ) consent order with the US Consumer Financial Protection Bureau over its alleged breach of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act has been terminated by the regulator, the CFPB said in a filing earlier this month.
The regulator ordered the bank in November 2023 to pay a $12 million penalty for submitting "false" mortgage lending information.
Bank of America ( BAC ) has "fulfilled the obligations" under the consent order, including the payment of the $12 million penalty, the regulator said in a June 5 filing.
The company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
