Bank of Montreal, Porter Airlines and Mastercard Launch a "First" In Canadian Credit Card Programs

09:47 AM EDT, 03/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BMO Financial Group , alongside Porter Airlines and Mastercard on Monday launched what a statement claims is the first travel credit card program in Canada that grants immediate frequent flyer benefits for cardholders in an airline's loyalty program, while enabling sped-up travel rewards.

According to a statement, more than 30,000 people have joined the pre-launch waitlist since the program was announced in January 2025.

Shares of BMO were last seen up 0.65% at $139.57 in early morning trade on the TSX.
