Bank of Montreal's Fiscal Q4 Adjusted Earnings Fall, Revenue Rises; Dividend Increased

06:23 AM EST, 12/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of Montreal ( BERZ ) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings Thursday of 1.90 Canadian dollars ($1.35) per diluted share, down from CA$2.93 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected CA$2.39.

Revenue for the quarter ended Oct. 31 was CA$8.96 billion, up from CA$8.32 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected CA$8.37 billion.

The company increased its quarterly dividend to CA$1.59 per share from CA$1.55, payable Feb. 26 to shareholders of record on Jan. 30.
