07:13 AM EDT, 09/27/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Bank of Nova Scotia ( BNS ) said on Friday that it issued 1.25 billion Canadian dollars ($927.4 million) in five-year sustainability notes, its first offering to the Canadian market under the sustainable issuance framework.

The bank said proceeds from the Notes may be allocated to eligible nuclear projects as outlined in the Framework.
