Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.21.

Revenue in the quarter ended Dec. 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and total noninterest income, rose to $160.6 million from $152.5 million a year earlier.

Analysts expected $156.1 million.

The company maintain its quarterly dividend of $0.48 a share, payable Feb. 14 to investors of record Feb. 4.

Banner shares rose 5.5% in recent after-hours activity.
