02:29 PM EDT, 07/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Barnes Group's ( B ) aerospace unit said Tuesday it agreed to a long-term contract extension with Munich-based MTU Aero Engines to provide a package of precision fabricated components valued at $33 million.

The Barnes Aerospace-Singapore original equipment manufacturer will make the aero-engine components for Pratt & Whitney's A320neo and A220 and Gulfstream's G500 and G600 engines.

Shares of Barnes Group ( B ), based in Bristol, Connecticut, fell 1.4% in recent trading Tuesday.
