Barrick Gold Temporarily Suspends Loulo-Gounkoto Mining Operations in Mali

07:04 AM EST, 01/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Barrick Gold (GOLD) said Tuesday that it has temporarily suspended operations at the Loulo-Gounkoto mining complex in Mali as it remains restricted from shipping gold.

The company said it continues to work towards a resolution with the Malian government for the long-term sustainability of the mining complex.
