09:35 AM EDT, 04/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Barrick Gold (GOLD) said Monday that it plans to change its name to Barrick Mining, subject to the approval of its shareholders during the upcoming annual and special meeting next month.

The company said it also plans to change its New York Stock Exchange ticker to "B" from "GOLD" effective May 9, while its shares will continue to trade under the ticker "ABX" on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
